As some of you may already know, Acroprint was founded back in 1969 by Wilbur Robbins. Sadly, he’s no longer with us. His son, Glenn, is the company president these days. But Wilbur’s widow is a vital and well-loved member of the Acroprint family, and a familiar sight at most of our company gatherings and celebrations.
Every year in January, we like to celebrate the birthday of Mrs. Tula, as she is affectionately known, and this year was no exception.
This year, Mrs. Tula turned 86(!) and we celebrated with chocolate cake and three-flavor ice cream after a lively (and surprisingly harmonious) rendition of “Happy Birthday to You.” The pictures here show Mrs. Tula’s “pretty in pink” cake and the birthday girl herself, getting first crack at the ice cream and cake as the guest of honor.
This was a fun break from our normal work routine, and a tradition we all look forward to every year. What sort of fun activities and traditions does your company enjoy?
