I recently stumbled across this short “2012 Employment and Labor Law Final Exam” from the law firm of Nexsen Pruet. It’s only five questions, but they’re tricky! I’ll tell you, I’m pretty knowledgeable about wage and hour law, but a couple of the questions on this quiz had me stumped.
In just five little questions, they manage to cover issues related to age discrimination, immigration law, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and more.
Unfortunately, the contest period has ended so you can’t win any prizes for correct answers. Still, it could be fun, interesting and possibly educational to see how much you know about the details of the law.
When you’re ready to check your answers (or if you just got stuck the way I did), you’ll find the answer key — complete with explanations! — right here.
